Electrical and optical properties of insulating crystals. Nonlinear optics, SHG, acousto-optics, photorefraction, optical absorption (UV-VIS-IR), high resolution FTIR, Raman and luminescence spektroscopies. Resonant optical processes, and rare-earth ion spectroscopy in oxide crystals.
