Special pictures

Glass Antelope This is a "colour" electron microscopy image. By making three images from the same subject with the same magnification and different electron accelerating voltage as red, green and blue images, we have tried to make a correspondence between the wavelength of electrons and that of the light. The rosier parts indicate areas which absorb the higher energy electrons, while the bluish areas reflect these electrons. One thing is clear: it looks better to the eye. Single Image Stereogram

This image is a 3D picture. These pictures contain identical vertical strips altered to convey 3D information. Find two neighbouring strips (for example by the leafs on the bench), and view one of them with your left eye, and the other with your right. Click on the picture to get a bigger view.

This is me and my dog, Silvery Bear Earl Göd Eddy. He is an Old English Shepherd dog. He is very clever, and helpful: he likes to carry our tools or packages.

On these photos I experimented with photographing the sun near and at sunset. I plan to take similar photos at night and at dawn.

This is a near 180 degrees round panoramic view of the Danube's bend from the top of the mountain Prédikálószék. You may see the royal citadel of Visegrád on the right. On the far bank of the river there are the cities of Nagymaros and Szob, those mountains there are part of the Börzsöny range. Click on the image to see a bigger version (350K).
