52 registered participants attended the EDNANO-11 workshop from 34 different laboratories in Europe, 3 in Asia and 3 in America. Hotel Margaréta in Balatonfüred provided an excellent a quiet environment for the intense scientific programme that included 34 oral presentations and 20 posters. The workshop was held with the usual 2+1 days schedule in which Thursday and Friday were devoted to science. The refreshment on Thursday evening was provided with a banquet dinner in a typical Hungarian countryside-style restaurant. On Saturday, the excursion included a short boat trip to Tihany, a lunch in Révfülöp and a wine tasting party in a wine museum of Badacsony.
