Based on the detailed candidadte presentation held at the end of the 15th Workshop, it was decided that
the next event is to be held in Florence, Italy.
The local organizers of the event were Walter Giurlani and Massimo Innocenti who are traditional attendees of the EDNANO workshops. Thanks to the excellent work of the local organizers, we enjoyed a wonderful workshop in the nice renessaince atmosphere of the downtown of Florence. The EDNANO workshop was held together with the forum of the European Academy of Surface Technology (east). The record-brekaing number of attendees could follow a very rich programme, as it can be seen from the book of abstract.
