The impact of the EDNANO Workshops on the electrodeposition science community was clearly indicated that
42 people registered to the EDNANO-7 event from outside of the organizers' group. This number is equal to the
overall number of participant in several earlier events. Unfortunately, the air trasportation was disrupted just
a few days prior to the Workshop due to the volcano eruption in Iceland. Therefore, lots of people could not
get to Bristol, and the Workshop could be held in a single day. Thanks to the efforts of the organizers and
to those who were devoted enough to undertake the uncertain journey to Bristol, the EDNANO-7 Workshop was still a
success.
