Electronic laboratory environment with AI coding agents: a guide to focus on science in the era of quest for reporting and managing scientific activities

The contemporary scientific landscape is increasingly burdened by administrative overhead, where researchers frequently divert focus from core experimentation to manage complex workflows, compliance reporting, and data logistics. This seminar presents a novel approach to the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), integrated with AI coding agents designed to reclaim scientific productivity.
We explore the architecture and implementation of an AI-enhanced LIMS that automates routine data management and analysis tasks through autonomous agents. By offloading the coding, integration, and maintenance of digital infrastructure to these intelligent agents, scientists can minimize time spent on reporting and digital housekeeping. The seminar will demonstrate how this symbiosis between human intuition and AI automation streamlines the research lifecycle, ensures rigorous data integrity, and restores the primary focus of the laboratory to scientific discovery rather than administrative compliance.
